Phantasm’s Lair uses the details you provide to run your account, respond to enquiries and deliver your membership. Contact James through the contact form to ask about your information, request a copy or request deletion.

Information the site uses

Your username, display name, email address and securely hashed password are stored with your account. The site also records membership status, payment references, map access, enquiries and account activity. If you connect Discord, it stores your Discord ID and username.

Payments and email

Stripe handles checkout and payment details. Your full card details never enter this website’s database. Postmark delivers sign-in codes, password reset links and account messages. Discord handles its own community service and account-linking consent.

Player quotes

Quotes you submit are reviewed before publication. Your approved quote appears with the display name and character information you supplied. You can withdraw it from your account.

Cookies and preferences

The site uses an essential session cookie to sign you in and protect forms. Your light or dark preference stays in your browser. This build does not include advertising or analytics trackers.

Security records

Activity records help investigate account and payment issues. They include timestamps, action names, account references and a protected identifier derived from the network address. Passwords, verification codes, reset links and card details are excluded from those records.

How long records are kept

Expired sign-in sessions and challenges are removed by scheduled maintenance. Account and payment records are kept while needed to provide the service and meet applicable record-keeping obligations. James can explain the retention arrangements and respond to deletion requests.
